I find my work shows a depth that evokes emotion especially since my work incorporates musicians who have passed by suicide, overdose, struggled with mental illness, or had a struggle with their own identity. I have created a unique way to incorporate collage, painting and mixed media in my pieces. Having only started my art journey a few years ago, I have been in search of my voice. I had been working on layering and decided that I would take collage and bring it to another level. I found a fun way to incorporate some of my favorite musicians and with so many icons leaving us all too soon; I knew I wanted to incorporate their story in my pieces.
