Day 125: Maria Leal Fisher

Maria Fisher has been a lifetime artist, however, she only began painting several years ago once the nest was empty.  Her inspiration comes from the many wild animals living in her neighborhood on the foot of the Superstition Mountains in Arizona.  These days, as we are caught up in the daily stresses of the business of living, she hopes that her paintings of these animals will be a whimsical reminder of the simplicity that coexists with us.  Her aim is to share the animation, innocence, and joy that the wilderness dwelling creatures bring to her life every day.
