Day 89: Brennan O Mara

As an Arizona native, Brennan O’Mara’s passion for art began at a young age. He was exposed to many diverse artists and learned from their processes. His mother is an art historian and his father is a musician. There was never any doubt as to the path he would choose.

Realizing that in order to reach his goal it would require serious commitment, he began studying figure drawing and painting at Mesa Community College. He then transitioned to Arizona State University where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Fine Art. In addition, he apprenticed with noted Arizona artists like Max Hammond and Gregory Sale.

Brennan primarily uses oils and mixed media. He is thoroughly consumed and sucked into each painting where he is constantly discovering new ideas through his unique blend of color and emotion.
